So my 4-year-old has decided that pre-school is not a good idea anymore.
I had tried telling him that staying home would be boring, that he'd have to take a nap, and that all of the kids at pre-school would be having so much fun while he was at home in bed. I thought it might motivate him.
The first day of school we said a little prayer before he left to help him have the courage to go to pre-school. He was really afraid and said that he would miss me too much. It seemed to work because on the first day he went with no problems.
I thought it might work again, so we knelt to say a prayer, and I asked him what he'd like me to tell Heavenly Father . . . His response: "You can tell Heavenly Father that I want to have a boring life, and that I don't want to have too much fun, and that I like taking naps. Tell him I'm not going to pre-school. That's all. Amen."
