You know -- we're in that stage where children wander into our bed throughout the night. I can almost unconciously lift them from the side of my bed into the middle of our bed without even realizing.
Last night my 5 year old joined us and snuggled up right behind me. At about 5:30 in the morning I felt cold. I thought that he had stolen the covers as he often does. Not this time. My back was soaked and all of the bed behind me. He had peeed . . . on me.
My first reaction was to jump out of bed and rip off my clothes and run to the bathtub. Anyone who knows me - knows that I don't love wet and gooey things: boogs, diapers, and especially the wet itchy feeling of being peeed on. (How do you spell peed anyway? peeed, pee'd, peed? I'm going to tick with 3 eee's because it looks better. )
But then you hear the sad little voice that says "I'm sorry mommy, I didn't know I peeed." And suddenly you're like "It's ok buddy, you can pee on me anytime!" Only a mother's love . . .
Ahhhh...that's sweet in a kind of icky way.

Rachael! Found you and there is nothing you can do about it! How the heck are you?! Looks like you are keeping busy. I love that your son pees on you. I have actually considered looking for a king sized plastic cover for MY bed because my kids are little wanderers too! I love that you love it. I do too...sometimes. Hope all is well...Dani
